My username is ______ because ______: 24601, which is a reference to Les Miserables, one of my favoritefavoritefavorite books and musicals. 24601 is Jean Valjean's prisoner number (in the musical, it's not quite as musical in the book), and it's how Javert, the cop that's always after him, sees him, as a criminal and a prisoner instead of a guy with the possibility of reform. It's all dramatic when he reveals it in the play, and he's all, "Who am I? Who am IIII? TWO-FOUR-SIX-OH-OOOOOOOOOONE." And in the version I saw at least he ripped his shirt open and was all, "CHECK MY 24601 TAT," and I was all, "OKAY YOU'RE AN AWESOME SINGER BUT YOU GOT A POT BELLY, PUT THAT SHIT AWAY."

2. My name is _____ because ______: "disgruntled goat" because he had his moments. It's from a Simpsons episode, where they got to Itchy and Scratchyland and it's a parody of Westworld, and Bart and Lisa are in the gift shop and Lisa asks about all these different stuffed animals on one of the shelves. Bart says they were from a failed Itchy and Scratchy variety hour I think? Anyways, one of them was Disgruntled Goat, and when Lisa says they weren't very good, Bart goes, "I dunno, Disgruntled Goat had his moments." And since I'm the goat girl, and the Simpsons girl, I had to use it. It was about time I changed it from "(william) control freak".

3. My journal is titled ____ because ____: "This Journal is Property of Rut Ru Enterprises, Inc./and he seduced my mom to get it". From Minghags. One of (MY LOVE) Brandon DiCamillo's characters is Rut Ru, an evil corporate man who steals Dico's other character's invention, and he seduces his mom to get it, and I'm so fucking in love with Brandon DiCamillo it went from not even funny to kind of funny again, so I used it.

4. My default userpic is ____ because ____: Seth Green and Joel McHale, when Seth pretty much climbed Joel like a redwood on The Soup. I couldn't stop watching that bit, because I love tiny tiny Seth Green and Joel's all giant and and and yeah. Hi.

In other news you guys, I finished NaNo with a completed story! I had to kill Burton at the end, poor guy, but I finished the story! First time I've managed to do that, even though I ended with less words than my previous attempts, which had... way more story to go. Like, a lot. A lot a lot.

For many people it's a stressful (if lovely) time of year, and snarry_holidays is ready to insert that special bit of Snarry into your holiday season. ;-) We'll kick start our posting tonight at 9pm EST, so please stick around if you can!

Some notes before we begin:


-- We will start posting today (yay!) December 1, and posting will run until December 23. snarry_holidays will be posting this year at InsaneJournal, LiveJournal, and Dreamwidth. You may comment to any of the sites, though commenting on IJ is encouraged, if possible.

-- With around 60 submissions, we will be posting an average of two gifts per day (a mix of fic and art, of course) with several days of three gifts. We will do our best to space out long fics so that everyone doesn't become too overwhelmed.

I've been uploading icons all day. I have at least some icons uploaded for all accounts, I believe. Yesterday I did Chuck, Lorelai and Elena for Harmony and today I did Marlene for Busillis, all of my accounts for the PSLs with Kassi (save for Dominic because I haven't gotten around to finding his account and all that and Logan because I still need to make his icons) and all accounts for the PSL with Kassi and Megan (Cordelia has very few because I can't find enough icons for her... I'll have to make them)

This is going to be my plotting thread for the Next Gen Kids Kids PSL since I'm not around much and hard to reach.

I'm going to list my characters, a little blurb about their personality and beneath that list each of their love interests, siblings, cousins etc and if I have anything to start us off on plotting their relationships I'll add that, if not I'll leave it blank and we can come up with something. This is only what I knew, so I know some relationships might be missing. Also, none of mine have specified best friends yet, so if you think any specific characters of yours would get along with them really well, let me know.
